IMFET(Internally Matched FET) Design Engineer
Job Summary:
Design
GaAs IMFET
in frequency range from 2 GHz to 20 GHz; in output
power range from 4 watts to 40 watts
Job
Functions:

Device
modeling small signal and large signal
·
Design
IMFET product including circuit simulation, layout, package selection and
product integration
·
Documentations
of the designed product
·
Prototype
evaluations and improvements
·
New
product introduction to production
·
Maintaining
the product throughout its product life
·
Provide
technical support for sales/marketing
Education/Experience/Knowledge Requirements:
·
BSEE
minimum, MSEE preferred
·
Course
work biased toward microwave circuitry and applications
·
Proficiency
with RF/microwave simulation tools (such as Microwave Office, ADS) and layout
tools (AutoCad)
·
Knowledge
of GaAs FET modeling
·
Can
operate RF test equipment (network analyzer, Signal generator, power
meter/sensor, spectrum analyzer,
noise meter/sensor…)
·
2 to
3 year experiences in relevant fields preferred
MMIC Design Engineer
Job Summary:
Design GaAs MMICs for RF/microwave applications in
frequency range from 4 GHz to 40 GHz. Product
type
includes: Power amplifier, low noise amplifier,
frequency multiplier, mixer etc.
Job
Functions:

Device
modeling small-signal and large-signal models (where applicable)
·
MMIC
product design including circuit simulation, layout, and sensitivity analysis
based on process, material
variations
·
Prototype
evaluation and subsequent design iterations if necessary
·
Product
documentation and new product introduction to production
·
Maintaining
the product throughout its product life
·
Provide
technical support to sales/marketing
Education/Experience/Knowledge
Requirements:

BSEE
minimum, MSEE preferred
·
Course

Transceiver Design Engineer
Job Summary:
Design
and develop transceiver (TR) for microwave radio links
Job
Functions:
·
Design
transceiver from customer specifications
·
Block
and level diagrams (designs) including identifying all MMIC chips, discrete
devices/circuits required and
micro-strip filter designs
·
RF
components, module design and characterization. Module specifications
·
Design
mechanical housing; RF/DC interface circuitry and final product integration
designs
·
Prototype
assembly and prototype evaluations
·
Product
documentation and new product introduction to production
·
Product
improvement and maintenance throughout product life
Education/Experience/Knowledge
Requirements:

BSEE
minimum, MSEE preferred
·
Course
work biased toward microwave circuitry; communication theory and techniques
·
Proficiency
with RF/microwave simulation tools (such as Microwave Office, ADS) and layout
tools (AutoCad)
·
Can
operate RF test equipment (network analyzer, Signal generator, power

·
Experience
with designs of RF/microwave circuits (such as PA, LNA, multiplier) is desired
